Put your Sunday on the TV
The Broadcast now lives in MFL Live. Watch every league's scores in a live preview, go full screen in one tap, or pair a TV by scanning a QR code with your phone.
The Full Story
New this week
- The Broadcast has a home in MFL Live at /live/broadcast, with a live preview, one-tap full screen and TV pairing by QR code.
- The Broadcast fits your phone or tablet now: matchup cards that fit a sideways phone, plays as slide-in banners, and the screen stays awake.
- On a phone or tablet, tap a Broadcast matchup to see both starting lineups, then tap a player for points and projection.
- On a sideways phone, swipe through Broadcast matchups a screen at a time, and see which of your players are on the field right now.
- Use your phone as a remote for a paired TV on the Broadcast: focus one league, flip the player strip, or mute it from the couch.
- Search from any page: the magnifying glass in the header now opens a search box right where you are, finding pages and players as you type.
- Halloween comes to TheLeague: for two NFL weeks through Nov 2, the site goes black, white and orange, with spooky headlines and every team wearing its black-and-white mark.
- On the Rosters page, the team switcher now opens the selected team's conference and scrolls to its crest, so you can always see which team you're on, phone included.
- For Halloween, Live Scoring opens on a haunted house under a full moon, with the week's Monster of the Week and Scariest Game called out up top.
- The Brand Book now holds every file: league, conference and division pages, a retired-clubs archive, the Halloween marks, and a search that finds any file by name.
- Live scores now move the moment ESPN records a stat, before MFL catches up, so player points, team totals and win odds update faster.
Fixes & polish
- Navigation & Routing — Every page now wears one icon wherever it's linked: the menu, search, page cards, draft and Front Office tabs and homepage tiles all match.
- Live Scoring — Live Scoring now prints NFL kickoff times in the clock you picked in Preferences, on the games rail and the player rows, instead of always Eastern.
- Live Scoring — Live matchup scores now show two decimals, so every player and team total matches MFL exactly.
- Homepage — On a phone, the homepage shows the Schefter Report right under the hero, then your team and the standings. The Owners' Poll card is gone; the weekly pop-up stays.
- Rankings — The Pecking Order is now just the rankings: a three-sentence intro, roomier team cards with record and movement, and more breathing room on phones.
Everything above shipped in the week of Oct 14-20. Older weeks are in the archive, and the how-to pages for each feature live in the guides.
