Unfortunately the deadline to sign him longer than 1 year was 24 hour's after you acquired him.

Thats cool... Busy work schedule and with the change in the waiver/auction format for FA I didn't know when guys would be awarded. Would be nice to have a strait FCFS to make things a little easier for a hard working man.
