FINALLY!!!!

YOU SNIPED MY PICK!?!?!

No prob. But you haven't learned yet to let the "scheduling agent" know of your availability? LOLbraven112 wrote:Lookin' forward to it!!
Heads up to everyone my wife signed us up for zip lining on Saturday so I'll be out from about 1-5pm PT. I don't have a 1st round pick but if anything goes haywire with the draft, I'll be offline for a little bit.
1.04, probably not... But the 1.06 and a future 1st I would've strongly considered doing w/ the lower wage scale for the RBs. WRs get a boost in salary, so Cooper/White would cost more next year than this year while Gurley/Gordon would cost less.bonesman wrote:If the rookie salaries would have been what they'll be starting in 2017 would you have made the trade with 1.4 and a future first?
Not really surprising considering how much time we spent devaluing that pick in the rookie salary conversation.Wascawy Wabbits wrote:A little surprised MWC wasn't able to get more than the 1.13 and a 2016 1st...
That thread certainly didn't help.... It was more the RB wage scale that was being argued about in that thread, not the 1.01 in general. Hard to not take the top RB at the 1.01 though (although it could be argued that there is no consensus RB this year w/ both having positives and negatives), but Cooper/White are a solid choice if you didn't want that big salary.bocious wrote:Not really surprising considering how much time we spent devaluing that _RB@1.01_ pick in the rookie salary conversation.Wascawy Wabbits wrote:A little surprised MWC wasn't able to get more than the 1.13 and a 2016 1st...
IMO with Coleman falling to 1.13 this trade worked out nicely for MWC.bocious wrote:Not really surprising considering how much time we spent devaluing that pick in the rookie salary conversation.Wascawy Wabbits wrote:A little surprised MWC wasn't able to get more than the 1.13 and a 2016 1st...
Certainly worked out for me since I would have been targetting either QB at 1.13 and the Dogs go and take both right in front of that pick. Needless to say I'd have been ticked. LOL Gordon will help in my run this year and provide me solid RB for the next 4 years beyond. Unless he's TRich, Jr that is.Achon44 wrote:IMO with Coleman falling to 1.13 this trade worked out nicely for MWC.bocious wrote:Not really surprising considering how much time we spent devaluing that pick in the rookie salary conversation.Wascawy Wabbits wrote:A little surprised MWC wasn't able to get more than the 1.13 and a 2016 1st...
Yup. He'll be the starter in 2016 behind one of the best OL's in the NFL and his salary starts at $450,000. I also don't expect my 2016 1st to be much higher than 2.01. That 2016 2nd rounder is a crapshoot thoughbonscott wrote:Wow...a 1st and 2nd rounder for the 2.01? And then another Cleveland RB taken? Yikes!
Join the party, Amish! We need to find a 4th CLE RB to join the Central division w/ myself, BTP, and Executioners each owning one...Achon44 wrote:Yup. Translation....Wait till next yearWascawy Wabbits wrote:Got quite a bit of draft capital going into next season's draftHopefully it's a good one!
That 2016 mid 1st you traded me will be nice to have when draft season comes around againAchon44 wrote:Translation....Wait till next yearWascawy Wabbits wrote:Got quite a bit of draft capital going into next season's draftHopefully it's a good one!
You're probably rightWascawy Wabbits wrote: 2.07) Tyler Lockett: Didn't think he'd last to the 2.10 w/ Pigskins picking at 2.08 and my next pick at 2.10. I think there's a lot of opportunity in SEA w/ the current WR depth chart.
Well, just not that high on Hyde the more I thought on it. I like him, I do. But there is more risk there then I'd like. I can see him being replaced in a year or two. I don't expect Gordon to be the "bell cow"...heck, who is these days other then a couple guys. But as my RB 2 who can carry me during Bell's suspension I like it.bonesman wrote:I wasn't that shocked you took MG, Amish. That's congruent with your needs and win-window. Makes total sense. I don't know why you think he won't lose 3rd downs and the occasional series to Oliver and Woodhead. VERY high expectations. When you said you were going to shock I thought it might be White.
Really surprised you weren't more excited for the Hyde/Olsen offer and declined that and mulled the Hyde/Cam offer more.
Hyde/Olsen puts you in a better position to go for it this year and still offers you some youth/years at RB that you got in Gordon... and you'd have an extra 2m+ to try to nab a hot free agent pick up with.
