Spice up defensive scoring

Wanted to see if anyone is interested in spicing up defensive scoring. We give points for the basics but there are others that we don't. Thoughts?

Here are some that we have in my personal league:

Kickoff and Punt Return yards:
1 pt for 100 then 1 pt per 25 thereafter

Total Net Yards Passing Allowed:

0-50: 4 pts, 51-100: 3, 101-150: 2, 151-200: 1, 200+: 0

Total Net Yards Rushing Allowed:

0-25: 6 pts, 26-50: 4, 51-75: 2, 76+: 0

Opponent Successful 2 pt conversion: -1 pt
Opponent Failed 2 pt Conversion: 1 pt

Opponent First Downs:
0-5: 4 pts, 6-10: 3, 11-15: 2, 16-20: 1, 21+: 0

I've always been intrigued by yards allowed and I really like the 2pt conversion idea, do you also award points for points allowed like we do now?

My only concern is that we keep the balance similar to what it is now. In terms of return yards my personal preference is to keep those with individual players but overall I think it's worth looking into.

Yes, we do points against and many others.

Points allowed:
Shutout: 10pts
1-9: 6
10-19: 3
20-29: 0
30-39: -3
40-49: -6
50+: -10

Fumble recovers, sacks, INTs: 1 pt
Blocked FG: 3 pts
Blocked Punt: 2pts
Safeties: 2 pts
Def/ST TD: 6 pts

I think overall defenses score a bit more then in this league but overall we find it balanced. Been the same scoring system since 1999. :D
